Debby Stone, JD, CPCC
Debby Stone, JD, CPCC is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach through the Coaches Training Institute, is a sought-after speaker, and also conducts seminars and workshops. Debby is the founder of InterVision Group, LLC and co-founder of Corner Office Coaching. She is also co-founder of GROWE (the Georgia Roundtable of Women Entrepreneurs). Debby is a member of the International Coach Federation, Coachville, and the Georgia Coach Association, where she currently serves on the Board as Co-President Elect. She is also active in the women’s business community. Debby serves on the board of ProWIN (Professional Women’s Information Network) as Immediate Past President and was the 2004-05 Vice President of Programs for the Atlanta chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners, where she was a finalist for 2005 Member of the Year. She is also an active member of the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers and serves as a mentor in the Pathbuilders-Achieva Program (formerly Georgia 100). In 2003, Debby co-founded the ProWIN Professional Coaching Committee. She is a senior editor and contributing writer for The Complete Lawyer e-zine and is the host of “Practice Strategies for Business Success” on The Business Hour on Radio Sandy Springs.
Debby received her undergraduate degree magna cum laude from the Institute
of Policy Sciences at Duke University in 1984. She then worked as a management
consultant at Bain & Company and in human resources for Contel Service
Corporation. She received her Juris Doctorate with high honors from the Duke
University School of Law in 1989 and practiced law for over 16 years, first
at McKenna Long & Aldridge, and later in her own firm, Stone Law Associates.
She also contributes her time to a number of non-profit organizations in
the metro-Atlanta area. Debby enjoys running, making jewelry and reading
novels. She is also an avid Duke basketball fan. Debby is married and has
a fourteen-year-old son and four cats.
